Can I ask you a question? How do you see yourself spending your holidays in 5 years? Is it surrounded by your family and includes young kids? What about 10 years? Do you see those kid/s older?

I’m 29 and have two kids (I’m also an engineer) I knew I wanted kids earlier in life so that I could focus hard in my mid 30s and on. Right now I work “part time” which is 30 hours a week and it’s very doable with young kids (my son goes to daycare and my mom watches my daughter at home, which I pay her to do).

I think your career will take a hit for a little while, but honestly if you can somehow work part time even it helps balance that!
