So I’ve read that people think she isn’t talking about assault, but as someone who knows a woman who made a fake claim against someone (she said he raped her) I see a couple of things:

We know that Caroline has been on a weird spiral for at least a week now. She has posted some really sexual and unusual things (for her account); she has demonized oral sex, talked about wanting to do nude shoots, posted a photo of her butt and vagina, the vagina shot wherein she writes how excited she is about he lover. She hyped it all up (things with British guy) and now she is writing where questions of assault are not difficult to jump to.

Of all the crazy attention grabbing she has been doing so far, alluding to date-rape is right in-line with not only her victim narrative, but also putting herself right in the middle of me-too. She is wanting to be relevant and have people pay attention to her, and her vagina and butt shots didn’t get her the attention she wanted, so now she is putting herself in a position no one can/would disagree with.

I struggled for a long time with the woman I knew who faked assault. I believed her for so long. It’s so hard when people make these claims because even if there’s a 98% chance they are lying, you don’t want to assume that they are, bc the consequences would be too awful. So we give them the benefit of the doubt, and I think we are often right to.

With Caroline, I hope with all my heart that she wasn’t assaulted.

That being said, I do find the context of the last few days on her account a little worrying. I’m really confused honestly, but I think there is definitely is something strange going on with her.
