Carrying a knife

I'm a Sales manager of a small manufacturing company. I use my knife mostly for opening packages, mail, cutting loose threads, etc. I don't always use it daily, but I use it atleast 3-4 times a week. I carry a Leatherman Charge as well. Things break down at work, and occasionally I'll help get them going. I also daily drive a classic car in the Summers and it breaks down, frequently..I live about 60 miles from my job, so I really don't want to pay that tow bill or force my wife to pack up my son and drive all the way out there to rescue me. Of course a Leatherman can't do all the jobs under the hood, but a vast majority for sure. I could probably leave the Leatherman in the car and keep a dedicated letter opener in my office, but I enjoy having my tools on me and being as prepared for the unknown as I can be.
