The Case for Democratic Gerrymandering

Gerrymandering is part of the rules and only one side is using it to their advantage to great effect.

The Democrats have already convinced people to vote for us. We win popular vote after popular vote, but due to the Electoral College and gerrymandered districts, we lose elections.

There are already structural obstacles to the Democrats winning. By estimate, we have to win nationally by 6-8 points just to get a simple majority in the Senate. Due to the way the House is set up and Republican gerrymandering, we have to win by 3-5 points to win the House. If you want to be relegated to being a permanent minority party, please be my guest, but I want to see Democrats in power because when Democrats are in power, good policies get passed.
