Casey Neistat- H3 Podcast #146

I wish Casey had furthered his explanation of luck creating success.

I find it amazing how Ethan himself made the point that he almost left Israel early during his trip, and had he done so, would never have met Hila.

Also, Ethan's claimed that Teddy Fresh was built "from the ground up". Considering H3 was already an established brand, with free promotion and enough base fans to found success upon, I find 'ground up' slightly disingenuous and I'm not sure if he genuinely believes that.

It's a type of survivorship bias. You only look at the success, see they all worked hard and were talented so you assume that was the cause of the success. But millions are talented, millions work hard. When you see it in terms of luck the analogy is this: Everyone who wins the lottery bought a ticket, buy buying a ticket does not mean you'll win.

"If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there".
