Cash is pouring into development of electric-car charging stations

Havent seen that site before.

LA to Seattle in a Tesla - 20 hrs

LA to Seattle in my Fiat 500e - 25 hours (Im shocked its actually doable given the meager 80 mile range)

I guess the main downside, even though the Tesla charge times arent as long as I would have guessed, is that there are ELEVEN stops for that trip. Maybe Im crazy but stopping THAT many times on a 20 hour trip would drive me nuts. In my gas car I often do an 8 hr day with one stop to refuel and one stretch, so two 8 hr days and one 4 hr day would be 5 or 6 stops.

Its doable, but for road trips Id still take my ICE car even if I had a Tesla. I dont like the idea of being forced to pit stop that often.
