Cashiers of Reddit, what was the worst time you blew up on a customer?

I had a woman trying to get the money from a western union transaction. She had one number, but we needed a different one which was petty common. I told her this and she didn’t agree with me. She was convinced the number she had was the only one I needed. I continued telling her that all she needs to do is call western union. I even offered her our phone. Since I needed that number so much she suggested that I call them. I explained why that wouldn’t work, and she continued telling me she didn’t need to call them. I never blew up at her, but, after ten minutes of her yelling at me, I finally just shrugged and told her I couldn’t help her and that I wouldn’t be able to give her the money even if she gets the proper number.
