Recently got an email about a job I applied to, with instructions to fill out another application, email to schedule a slot for an online interview within a 6-hour window, and complete the interview with a short assessment. I got this email less than an hour before that window, and since I was at work, of course I didn't get to check my email in time. I tried to contact the HR recruiter, but so far haven't gotten a response to my email and every time I call, I get voicemail for his extension. I really don't think this is worth so much hassle, but a lot of places aren't hiring right now or delaying training.

He called me randomly a couple of weeks ago for a phone interview, and I didn't even get a response when I had returned the call within a few minutes later. I also responded to the email I got at around the same time and still nothing. This whole thing seems like a pain for no reason.
