Ugh. My brother got a lift to the drive-ins with some buddies but he left without a key so somebody's gotta be up to let him but it's 2am and he still isn't back. He's never particularly been one for, well, basic freaking courtesy so I legitimately have no clue whether he isn't coming home tonight or if he just didn't have the decency to think about the fact he's keeping one of us up. The problem is that going out afterward for late night early morning food with the guys and chatting for hours without thinking about it is exactly the kind of thing he would do. In fact promptly forgetting about his lack of a key not ten minutes after informing us that he forgot his key is something I wouldn't put past him either. Hasn't responded on Facebook, no texts either, my phone's out of credit so I can't text him, and the rest of the family's asleep since it's 2am so I can't ask if the folks if he texted. Mum said she would wait up for him but she certainly wasn't expecting it to be this late so I assume she's already fallen asleep, but the outside light's still on and I would expect her to have turned that off if he'd texted that he was sleeping over.
