In a sense, I feel that ancestral prayers are for people to remember the past. Good and bad, both should be remembered for good reasons. Therefore, them going for prayers at Yasukuni isn't too large an issue for me. War has been around for ages, and we Chinese are also praying to war criminals too, only much further into the past. Complaining for Yasukuni prayers comes off as hypocritic when we think of it so.

Furthermore, my country and community has already decided to let bygones be bygones. Forgiveness, but we don't forget what happened, and that probably is much more important.
