Someone from the neighborhood did get in touch with them. I don't recall any details, but I think it was pretty mundane. Maybe a job opportunity or something? It's been awhile.

Cats are great. I like that they are easier to care for than dogs. It varies quite a bit from cat to cat. This one runs all over the place harassing the local wildlife, but he's too stout and uncoordinated to really catch anything. I have another cat who just spends most of her time quietly curled up on my Playstation where it's warm, but she's an old lady these days lol. Honestly the fur and litter really aren't that big of an issue in my experience. Vacuuming once a week and occasionally brushing off the furniture seems to do the trick for me.
