All on the first page of results. You are clearly misinterpreting the snakes behavior. Even if a snake moves toward you it is attempting to flee. If it sees coming toward you or between your legs as the best chance of escape or the fastest route of escape it will take it. People misinterpret this behavior as chasing. The last url I posted explains cottonmouth bluffing while attempting escape. It may look threatening as it is trying to flee, that’s the intention in that case. It does not mean that the snake is chasing you. The misinformation is actually what you are spreading, suggesting that scared snakes, when approached by humans, will not attempt to escape but instead chase a person that could easily kill them.
