A larange point is a point in space where a body is gravitationally stable between two other gravitational bodies where one orbits the other. For any such pair, there are five such points where you can stick a third body and have the entire system remain gravitationally stable.

1. Just beyond the smaller body in relation to the larger.

2. Opposite the smaller body in relation to the larger.

3. Just within the smaller body in relation to the larger.

4. Some degrees ahead of the smaller body in the same orbit of said body around the larger body.

5. Some degrees behind the smaller body in the same orbit of said body around the larger body.

In all cases, the exact distances involved depend on the exact relative masses of all three bodies.
