No. I hope they come forward. If they get caught, they may lie and try to blame the other person. That leaves the other person devastated. They’re left with thoughts of failure and disappointment. They’re left wondering what they did wrong, what they could’ve done better, what this other person had that they didn’t. It’s crushing, devastating, humiliating. It’s not fun, it’s not exciting, it’s not getting back at the other person or whatever bullshit reason you come up with. It’s sick and inhumane. If you are a cheater, you’re the worst kind of person alive.

Cheating is never an option in a relationship. There is literally no excuse for it. Cheating means you were too much of a coward to end your previous relationship. You played with another person’s emotions for your own selfish gain and it’s inexcusable. Deceiving your partner while stabbing them in the back by confiding or seeking help from another person. That’s the worst part, worse than the sex or affection shown. The fact that you lied to the other person is worse than anything. Even if you were abused horribly, cheating is just an eye for an eye. If you are cheating, be a grown adult and admit your faults, not just to your partner but to yourself. Admit you have issues, because a new relationship won’t solve anything. A new person is just a shiny coat of paint. You can polish a turd all you want, but it’s still a piece of shit.
