It’s actually a fascinating point.

If society accepts you can be gay or be trans coz you are born that way, I don’t see how philes aren’t included in the acceptance. So the argument “it’s not their fault accept me” must be globally valid or it’s not valid at all.

But what’s really fucked up is that philes are always in the closet because they are directly damaging to innocents and anything you do is unacceptable. For example you can’t just say “here’s licences kid porn” because ethically even if that tape had been filmed illegally and say, the people in it are dead now, regardless it’s still unacceptable.

So really it would need to be synthetic, maybe cgi kid porn? But who’s gonna do that job????

So it seems unfortunate that there will always be unknown philes lurking around and that at any time 0.1% of them might be so turned on by an opportunity that it will happen frequently enough.

So I guess my point is that it’s a true nightmare problem of society which can never be resolved really by any means and that must stand as a unique societal problem.
