Absolutely, I'm not intending to discourage people from doing what they need to do. I just kind of got interested in what the law says about a situation like this. First amendment auditors have really changed the landscape for these situations and have caused policing to change quite a bit.

Please, anyone who feels the need, call the police. Better to get help and not need it.

Also, OP says this was the second time, at what point do stalking laws come into play since this was not the first encounter. That may be a legal tact if another encounter were to occur.
