Instead of relying on the member to insure the ship through the corp or alliance and then do all this comparison approval,

Have the alliance SRP admin and ship acquisition team insure prefit ships BEFORE line members get them. These corporation issued insurance contracts are infinite duration but only take effect if the ship is lost while it's in the hands of a member of the alliance.

Each provided ship would have a set of valid alternate fittings allowed for that ship, which would be designated Corporation fittings, without breaking the contract. If you fit something else, the modules window will turn red and warn you that if you die while operating that configuration you will not receive SRP.

This could even extend to having the correct quantity of ammunition loaded in the ship if you so chose. When creating a corporation fitting, you could mark it as required for SRP.

In other words the insurance plan would be tied to the ship and not the pilot. Because we are treating this as the ship being owned by the corporation and not the pilot themselves.
