Celebrating Elon Musk’s milestone of becoming the Worlds Richest Person. Elon started with living in a small office with one computer. He would work over 80 hours a week. Hard work and dedication.

Is that... an accomplishment?

Like, most of it is stock value and reinvesting his wealth he started with.

Maybe if he started homeless and worked to this I would be impressed. But it’s going from the top 1% of the world to being the top.

Not all that much of a change to me?

Again, if I had rich parents, I would be a millionaire too. Unfortunately most of my time is spent working a job to pay rent and food and pay off loans. Then by the time the 60 hours I work is done, how am I supposed to spend 80 hours on my own projects, sleep, and eat?

Do you think he cooks and cleans? Do you think he raises his own kids?

Hell no, that’s how he affords all that time. By starting off wealthy, you get a ton of extra free time and resources you otherwise don’t have access to.

Again, cool he wants to go to Mars. But he didn’t struggle though feeding his poor mother and trying to raise his siblings AND find time to work 80 hours a week.

It just kind of seems like, good job rich guy, you kept your lifestyle...
