Celebrex

I take celecoxib (celebrex) as my primary drug. I am unable to take TNF inhibitors (prior cancer diagnosis) and my oncologist has asked me to hold off on other biologics until there is a longer period of post approval safety data.

I've had to periodically stop taking celebrex due to gastritis, and when I restart celebrex it takes some time to build up in my system and relieve inflammation. It does not help like a biologic, but for me it keeps me mostly functional and fights some of the fatigue causing inflammation. When not on celebrex, I barely sleep because my spondylitis pain is so severe in bed, but on the celebrex I can sleep, bend, etc.
