Also, yes, you can make jokes about groups and be an advocate for equality. Because they are jokes. And no one has to curtail themselves and their actions to the worst of our society.

"Your issues are caused by (insert group) and they want to destroy you because look! They said you have to examine your actions and accept you could, totally unaware, be part of the problem that hurts other people!" which can be appealing but then you follow that rabbit hole and you get told you're both worth nothing but also superior to the lesser people until you have such a low view of yourself that the only way to feel good is to believe that you may be less than the other people like you but at least you aren't a black/queer.

This can apply to literally any group, just switch out the 'at least you aren't black/queer' part for another race or orientation.

For someone who says they love dark humor, you seem to be drawing a big line in the sand here and I'm not sure what the cutoff is. Would you say George Carlin enabled rapists for making rape jokes? Would you say Monty Python encourages religious extremism for making religious jokes?

It just seems like you're making a big leap from the audience enjoying an edgy joke to the audience becoming radicalized.

I'm not even sure what this is referencing, but the problem isn't anyone criticizing him for making a bad joke. It's that people are saying he's a Nazi/racist for making these jokes at all.
