CEO of Robinhood, Vlad Tenev, Stating That Freezing Buying, Allowing Selling, And Tanking Specific Stocks Is Standard Risk Management Procedure even though it has never happened before, EVER in history, Then Vlad completely contradicts himself affirming nothing was standard about it

That is hardly the issue, has there been mismanagement hell yes, or more to the point Vlad got a bit out over his skis and he should not be in charge,I was ok with the shitty order flow margins, but unless i strictly day traded or bought and sold high volumes it didnt matter. the SEC has done SO much work with them, and i was an OG Robinhood back since 2018, and they fucked me hard in march of 2000 with a shutdown of their platform for two days. I still have the account for crypto and their margin is cheap, but Fidelity is much better overall but still higher margin % cost, but my point is there isn't a "Fix" going on and trading gets halted by the nyse when wild volatility all the time. The simple fact that all this new organized reddit "communitiy investing", threw the market a loop and is dynamic. I dont know how or if the SEC will come down on collusion on multiple platforms that allow open communication on such a large scale relating to the buying and selling of equities. (if this was done in print form in the 70's or 80's a lot of arrests would have taken place)THis scares me if they try and regulate the retail investor with crackdowns, and honestly NO WAY is anyone responsible for dumbass young adults losing money or keeping them "safe and responsible investors". You wanna invest your money, its at YOUR RISK!! I DONT GIVE A SHIT IF A NAKED WOMAN POPS OUT WHEN YOU MAKE A TRADE, DO YOUR HOMEWORK OR LOSE EVERYTHING, I COULD GIVE A SHIT IF SOME KID CRIES ABOUT IT. Robinhood has been unfairly hammered because of reddit without a doubt
