Certain arguments on 'judging others' and 'society' on this sub are pushing me further into depression. Please just hear me out.

Ok.... so let me just put my 2 cents in.

I wants to first start by saying, you're on the r/Islam subreddit, keyword "Islam". People here will give you advice to the best of their ability (though some give terrible advice and isn't by the Quran). Where does their advice come from? The Quran. Where does the Quran come from? Allah. End of discussion right there honestly, but let's keep going.

You seem to be confused and very liberal in your belief, which is completely fine. But as Muslims, we took what Allah said and we put it into action. We didn't change it, and we don't plan to, because we are not above him or his law. If you choose to consume alcohol, or do whatever you feel is ok and be Muslims at the same time, that's perfectly fine. But if you come to Muslims and say that you're Muslim but don't seem to follow the laws of God and then rebuke them on their constant belief in the laws of God, then that just seems..... like you're lost...

Why would it matter if a country wants to live the way they live? It's that country, it has nothing to do with you. Be critical all you want, but if it's not affecting you, then let it be... you like the freedoms in America, awesome! Me too! But I love the fact I can walk down the streets in an Islamic country and be proud that I'm a Muslim (I can't do that here in the states because they look down on us).

But I must say brother, also by looking at your previous posts, it seems you are VERY confused... with Islam that is... maybe just take a break from Islam, it may not be for you. Have you looked into Christianity? It's extremely similar to Islam, but much more free. If you have thought this over and still want to pursue Islam, I got some good news, you're Muslim by heart! And for that to happen, you must let these thoughts be in your mind. That's just Allah making you strive to find your answers. Just know, he made the laws, not the people, and a huge boasting point of Islam is that our religion is still the only one left with true pure words of God. Jews have completely misinterpreted their book and the Christians have re-wrote it so many times it's been lost and to fit their own narrative.

But that's my 2 cents
