U guys!!! am subscribing to this post so I can remind myself that this is a thing, and has nothing to do with who I am. My self esteem has suffered greatly from catty guys and women snap judging me based on my appearance…starting rumours, excluding me, calling me snob/bitch/showoff, etc. Not to mention the slut shaming!! As an adult my people pleasing got so bad, just to try to have some say in people’s perception of me. And not only do I know now that that is absolutely out of my control and none of my business, I learned that if you are too-nice, people might hate even harder!! Working on my inner self now more than ever, but thanks for sharing…it really helps me feel not alone in this experience.

Sidenote: do you think friendships with other women seem to work out better when you are relatively the same level of attractiveness?? I don’t know the answer but just curious as this is an amazingly honest group of women
