Is CompTIA Sec+ similar to CCNA security?

The security course was good, but it’s the only exam I have ever failed.

The instructor on the course kept saying that the exam questions wouldn’t match up to the content and to be prepared to fail - this wasn’t inspiring.

I learnt the ‘official’ course book and the QA course material (which were both very different covering different topics) and did more revision than I have ever done for any exam. Sure enough, I had no idea on a lot of the questions. I could have resat the exam, but I genuinely didn’t see how I could have done any better. All the reviews for the ‘Official’ book complained that it was different content to the exam.

The standard CCNA ‘routing and switching’ exam was apparently OK - but it seems that so many people still use dumps to pass. Maybe I should just have done that.

So the ‘best’ networking qualification I have is CCENT, although I do feel I knew the CCNA Security course material...
