Chad Wesley Smith talks programming and explains why beginners shouldn't use high specificity.

I don't wish to share way identity, as the video of the lift has my name and location of where it was done.

You could always send it by message tho if you're afraid of publicity. Unless you're afraid I'm some kind of a psycho...

Further even if I couldn't bench 100 more lbs then you likely at a lower bw, your attempts at an ad hominen attack in your intitial just show your arguments have no merit.

I'm not sure if I follow... I already wrote my 1RM and I have heavier BW... Attempts? Really?...

Specificty should increase with trainung experienc, this is a basic concept you learn in ex phys 101.

No argument about that.

I don't know why you continue to argue with me when you don't even understand the program you are defending as having specific lifts that Rippetoe outlines lifters.

I don't wanna argue anymore, I'm asking for an advice. I'm not on Rippetoe's anyway btw. I'm using progression principles of Powerlifting2Win with my training spinning around high bar squat, deadlift, MP, CGBP, pull ups and front lever (+ some accessories).

When we have idiots like Rippetoe and his followers preaching the opposite of what actual science said trainees should be doing, it is extremely frustrating

The thing is, until now, you've only been repeating how big nonsense it is, but you didn't post any info explaining your opinion. Except for an unspecific video in your OP.

But I'm all for learning. If you can point me to sources that I can use to educate myself and implement the knowledge in my own programming, that would great!!!

So could you please point me somewhere so I can actually understand the stuff instead of just following it?

Thanks.
