This champ (in the comments) wants to have a registry for meat eaters.

Sure, I totally agree pigs are indeed very intelligent. However they have been bread as livestock for around 6000 years, compared to dogs being bread domestically for around 60,000 years. All im saying is humans in general have an inate attachemtn to dogs for very good reason, we have a disconnect for livestock because it's part of who we once were and, for mostly worse, continue to be. The entire world will never see things the same way as someone who knows pigs are intelligent and caring animals. It will continue to be never ending long after we are all gone. Advancements in grown meat and meat replacements will come further into the mainstream, but there will always be a slaughter industry, at least in this millenium. There will always be a disconnect for most people.
