Changing color of a black door, help please

Okay. I am in same boat as I have had 24 hrs to look at the program. I presume your AF is new. The video is using something antique, I think.

If you have your rose selected and go to the bottom of the LAYERS panel the second item in is Adjustments. Go the HSL from there. Use the popup box of color controls to slide the hue to an orange that is close.
Then crank up the saturation to over 50%.
Luminosity around 20% or so. Use your eye here to get close. CLOSE X the box of controls. If the name of the layer is not something like (HSL adjustment) then name it that by clicking in the name bar and typing.

Go back to ADJUSTMENT LAYER and find Brightness / Contrast. I used a B of 17% and C of 20 or so. X out. Name it...

Go back to ADJUSTMENT LAYER and this time choose Vibrance. Run V to 50% and Sat to 20% or so. Use your eye. Name...

If you have the flower now close you can REOPEN any of the control boxes at the place you Xed out by double clicking on the half in by half in box to the left of the NAME of the layer.

Adjust to your heart's content.
