It is a hateful act to burn with a flamethrower a painting of someone. There is no respect to give to Hitler but what is the meaning of burning his image ? Maybe audience for the TV show ? It is just painfully wrong if it is cast on TV

I don't think such painting is so important to keep for remembering history. There is plenty of concentration camps in Europe to visit to be remembered of the atrocity of the Nazi Regime. The act of burning his image though, is really bothering me. It is such a hatred message to anyone appreciating Hitler. I don't have any reason to appreciate Hitler, quite the contrary, but I wouldn't like anyone to burn image of someone I like. It's weird to accept such act for hateful people but not for others. We don't solve hate through hate

As we say to kids "don't do things that you wouldn't like others to do on you".
