A ChapoTrapHouse thread causes /r/Drama to argue over Communism and whether or not Cuba has decent schools. Some don't appreciate it when an actual Cuban chimes in.

I mean literally nothing in either the photo or the caption makes any reference to Harvey Weinstein whatsoever.

Fortunately they recorded and admitted the context in a podcast, as the article states.

The joke in the caption seems to be trying to tie the joke in the photo — ironically supporting Bill Cosby — to conservatives defending confederate monuments, which was also in the news at the time.

Which is why they attacked liberals, right? You don't get to make up shit.

As for mocking Melissa McEwan, he issued a public apology that seemed pretty sincere. After a certain point it becomes obvious that these criticisms aren't being offered in good faith, and I don't know how far past that point you expect people to continue trying to acquiesce.

And there it is; you believe you are entitled to good faith despite not doing anything to earn it. If the victim says she didn't get a personal apology and there's no evidence she did, there was no apology. Nick was caught lying, not her.

But because it makes you look like pieces of shit, you want to throw your hands up and say "I tried" without actually doing anything to show change or remorse. And this is why CPH is mocked and derided outside your echo chamber. You yourself post in the subreddit, so don't act like you are neutral; you're fully invested in the same rape culture and same racist, sexist attitudes that keep your subreddit overwhelmingly white and male.

Blocking you and moving on past your apologism.
