Not trying to disregard anything Mirio, BJ or Nejire did this chapter (was literally jumping in my chair when I saw Mirio) but feel really bad for Deku and hope he gets addressed more.

No matter what you're saying, he saved so many fucking heroes by fighting Shigi alone and not letting him decay anyone. But he STILL, fees like he did nothing. Really showing how bad his mindset can be. But... it's the mindest that brought him here today. Shoto, Bakugo, Kota, and Eri (I don't know if I'm missing anyone else that's the few I can think of) in all those instances he jumped into danger, disregarding his own safety and hurting himself in the process (not including the Bakugo instance, but he was still disregarding his own safety) but still managing to save them. Which is why I think it unintentionally makes him think his mindest is fine. Although many people told him it's not. We can tell by the fact that he is still beating himself down and saying he should be doing more. Like, FUCK NO. No one could've done more with the stakes that he had and the fact that he was fighting the strongest villain he ever faced by a fucking mile and he was fighting him all alone for a good while. His low self-worth is really sad and probably a result of all the bullying. Many think Ochako should help him with that, which is fine and I'm also rooting for this to happen, but I think if it was Bakguo the one who did it, I think it would've had more impact.

As much as Bakugo is getting better, he still was a dick to Deku for a fair amount of time, and well, he IS the main reason he has those low self-worth feelings. Bakugo coming out and saying to Deku that he is not useless (and maybe even apologizing) will make much more impact in my opinion. But also Ochako in tears maybe begging Deku to stop hurting himself will make the same impact, who knows.
