Back in my day we didn't glorify bad posts. We reported and deleted them. But this was before the facebook-using normies took over the internet and ran anything even slightly humorous into the ground.

Oh, please. Step aside, son. Back in MY day, there was no report/delete feature, but it was fine, because that was before Eternal September when the AOL-using folks took over the Internet, suddenly thought they were hot shit, and started using terms like "normies" to refer to people they disagree with who are otherwise exactly like their own normal average selves.

Man, freaking Usenet, that's where the good stuff was. I can't believe anyone late enough to the party to think about reporting and deleting stuff is trying to act like they're some "Elder of the Internet" who can look down on others...
