It wouldn’t hurt to disclose it, especially considering you weren’t involved in any wrongdoing. I spoke to a lawyer about disclosing a charge I had expunged from my record (even though the school didn’t require it) and he suggested I be upfront about it anyway for the sake of the bar exam. Once you undergo C&F screening for the bar, it could possibly raise a red flag that you hadn’t mentioned anything prior.

With that being said, my charge was criminal. Also keep in mind the disclosure requirements can vary depending on the school, so definitely pay attention to the language on the C&F section of the application! If you have the means to do so, it may be helpful to speak to a lawyer and get their opinion but this doesn’t seem like a big deal. It certainly won’t hinder your ability to get accepted.
