I've been binge playing GK2, and I gotta say... there's only one person that I feel sorry for. [All GK2] (#s "Manosuke Naitō, or, Horace Knightley. Now, this is probably an unfavourable opinion, seeing as he was the culprit of the first case and given that he killed his leader out of hatred of who knows what. But let's just shove past that for a moment, and talk about what's happened to the poor sucker. Well, for first, Knightley was ordered by his father, Isaac Dover, to type up his elementary school friend in order for Dane Gustavia to not win the composition. After feeling extremely guilty and apologizing over and over to Simon, the poor kid almost fucking FROZE TO DEATH. As a result, he suffered from memory loss, and ended up being taken to a nearby orphanage since his father was murdered shortly thereafter. He lived there for who knows how long, until he was able to fend for himself and become the President of Zheng Fa's bodyguard. 'Course, during this time, Simon had muddled memories, and thinks that Knightley's father was the one who killed his own, when in fact, it was the other way around, causing a misdirected seething hatred for Knightley, which Knightley didn't have the foggiest clue about, for something he didn't even do. Anyway, after being arrested, he was set by Simon to play correspondence chess with Dogen, which ultimately led to him being killed by Patricia for the wrong fucking reason. On top of all of that, he was charged with the "attempted assassination of the president" which bones his reputation even more.

Sure he's just a prick, and sure, he killed Rooke, but man, this fucker had a hard life. And I feel so god damn sorry for him.")
