[Charania] The Philadelphia 76ers have made Ben Simmons available in some packages with the Houston Rockets for James Harden, sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium. Conversations aren't fluid as of now.

yea I kind of agree but history and players definitely care more about a ring than a scoring title. Even if it was against a beaten down Warriors team, it was a ring nonetheless, I'm sure Harden would trade his 3 scoring titles for a ring or 2. And to be fair, Kawhi did play very well during that Raptors finals run and even for the Clippers. He came up short in game 7 against the nuggets but the rest of that series, it generally wasn't Kawhi that came up short but PG and the rest of the team instead.

I actually like Harden's game a lot, you're right, to say he consistently underperforms isn't fair when he keeps going up against the warriors, and he's still like a 30 ppg scorer or smth in the playoffs.

Regardless, Harden's and Kawhi's playoff stats the past 3 years are fairly similar, but Kawhi's doing it at better efficiency. I'm not sure exactly, but it sounds like you're trying to argue that Harden is a better player and I would not agree. I think Harden and Kawhi both belong to the top tier of players above every other player in the league, with maybe an edge to Kawhi seeing as he has 2 rings and 2 dpoy to show for it.
