Charlotte spent millions on low-income housing, but poor people can’t afford it

What is the precious heck are you even implying here? It appears to be that you think I'm ill-informed because I... don't support purging of voter rolls and closing of polling stations that appear widely targeted to reduce non-white voter turnout in several Republican-controlled states?

I don't use a sample ballot, I vote by mail. I sit down with my ballot with the entire internet in front of me and don't leave any contested races blank. I read third-party analysis of ballot issues looking for unintended consequences. I aggressively cross party lines on judges as your link suggests because at the county level my party treats judicial seats as an exercise in nepotism.

But A has absolutely nothing to do with B and your comment is an absolute non-sequitur. Voter suppression is utterly repugnant to the concept of a free society and all who engage in it deserve to be named, shamed, and drummed out of office through whichever of the Four Boxes is required. That's not even a partisan issue and shame on anyone who makes it one. I'd shout myself hoarse at any Democrat who wanted to stop citizens from voting, and often do at Dems who want non-citizens to vote.
