If Schwartz says Rowe was not a scheme fit and he's getting blown by on the depth chart by 7th round rookies then it's a prudent move to get whatever you can for him instead of letting him chill on the bench all year, reducing his value.
Murray clearly wanted out and was toxic in the locker room so go ahead and say whatever you want but there was zero chance he was on this football team this past year. So again, might as well get something for him and get the contract off the books. You call that excuses, everyone else calls it basic fucking logic.
Is 7-9 a good record? In a vacuum it's below average. But again, using a small fraction of your brain and your eyeballs would show it was a decent season to build on considering it was one of the hardest schedules ever in his first year with a rookie QB and no corners. You sit there and say it's a fact that hiring him was a terrible move because you don't have the attention span or brain power to set expectations outside of Howie must win a SB in 2016 or he's pure garbage.
I'm not a fan of Howie's prior stint here, and I've made endless comments on this sub expressing that concern, but I also don't have the intelligence of a child so I decided to judge him based on his decisions moving forward. Dak was a back burner option and they had zero idea he'd play as well as he did. They had the 4th overall pick because they were fucking trash the year before and they picked a very talented RB with the 4TH OVERALL PICK to place behind their OL made up of 1ST ROUND PICKS.
