[chat logs] Tikktokk, Fintarue, Chessur // popcorn eating intensifies.

I think that content generation in any form is good for the game overall. Exposure, Information, and enthusiasm is always a good thing for the community and thus the game as a whole.

As a person who is still relatively new to PvP in Eve, 1.5 years (about 33mil sp) I look up to people who produce content. (ie. Lussy Lou, Sard Caid, Fintarue, Suitonia, Big Miker, Chessur, God's Apple, Zao Amadeus...and many others I'm sure I am forgetting.)

When these pieces of content come in different form, I feel that they all have similar goals. 1) Building the community 2) Developing better PvP 3) Sharing Ideas

(k guys now the feels - cause we're adults right.....?) After reading this conversation, there were some points / comments i agree with. Some I do not agree with. Overall, I'm actually disappointed in the lack of support from one content creator to others. For an individual who's videos I have watched and tried to learn from to be as negative about another form of content and another part of the eve community is discouraging.

(just some things to think about?) I found parts of this conversation to be contradictory.... a player who desires to challenge himself, but often utilizes links his the videos he offers as examples of superior piloting decisions. A desire to push the game towards a stronger core of small group PvP, yet all videos are a small gang against superior numbers (because that is entertaining). To be honest, watching two small groups of very skill pilots in very cohesive compositions outside of a tournament setting would result in a very boring standoff in which if either side starts to break the skillful pilots would leave the confrontation.

Lastly, in the grand scope of this game no individual really matters so while I still enjoy the content created by some individuals, my view of them as a person can change. To someone who spoke on the eve stream and has been interviewed by CCP my perception has been changed from what I saw on camera at fanfest and the views I now see expressed about the game and the community that supports him.
