Have you considered getting one on Amazon? The Prime Exclusive Motorola G6 Play will end up being around $200ish after taxes ($183.99) list. I have one and I'm very surprised at how well it works. (The power button is in the dumbest place though, but that's because I'm used to Pixels) I thought about getting the G6 variant too but I'm spoiled with the G6 play battery size.

Read the reviews and articles about it, I really recommend it. No $20 upgrade assistance fee nonsense from the T-Mobile store.

Amazon Prime Exclusive phones no longer have the lockscreen ads, the Amazon apps are preinstalled but easily arranged to be out of sight. Barely any bloatware.
