Cheers.

I think cancer is an intangible word to some people. Like the word trillion. There is no tangable connecting to reality. I think people who smoke should visit the cancer ward, the chemo infusion rooms, and watch people battle with a month to live, go to hospice and see people who are relieved to be put on massive morphine doses. Overhear conversations of the cancer patients. Watch husband and wife hug each other and begin to cry. Watch the nurses who are charged with cancer patients, watch their unusually cheerful, happy, forcefully upbeat attitude, because of the mortality of the patients they treat. It snaps you out of the fairytale you tell yourself every time you smoke.
