To the chefs of Reddit, how do you react to food that was sent back because it's not cooked to the customer's liking?

Pray you didn't send your food back.

If you did then take a stoic approach to it and realise that none of these disgusting things are going to kill you and to be honest they're not even going to make you ill. Whilst I wouldn't choose to eat a chef's pubes or ball sweat for example, if I don't know about it then it doesn't actually have any effect on my life.

The world of food in general though isn't as clean and pleasant as you'd expect. As a result of covid I found myself back in the minimum wage world for a bit of 2020 at a food factory and they were just as grim. No sabotage there but anything that fell on the floor was usually scooped back onto the conveyor belt (i made sure not to myself) so now I can't even trust half the shit I buy in the supermarket. Again though, never got ill from it, so once again I'll say the less you know the better.
