Chelsea has always seemed like such a genuinely good person and she deserves happiness. This is pretty politically incorrect but Chelsea's story is the best birth control for teenage girls, IMO. (Let me preface this by saying of course she wouldn't do anything differently because she has Aubree now, blah blah.) She could have had this flawless little family, her and Cole and their little babies. Instead she gave Aubree a deadbeat, borderline-absentee, emotional abuser as a father, a guy she has to leave her real home (and, at this point, her real dad: Cole) to go visit several times a month, all because she didn't make her despicable high school boyfriend wrap it up. A lot of girls (hell, most girls) have awful boyfriends when they're really young, but they break up and move on with their lives and it's no big deal. Chelsea's irresponsibility guaranteed that her douche bag teenage ex-boyfriend won't just be a story to look back upon, but will be a constant upsetting presence for the rest of her life. Wrap it up, kiddos.
