Chicago White Sox pitcher Carlos Rodón has pitched the 307th no-hitter in MLB history against the Cleveland Indians!

My point was/is, that he has NOT been healthy for most of the inning he’s pitched in his career. So the numbers you cited are greatly affected by his history of serious injuries.

The discussion that started this sub thread was about him hitting 99 in the 9th inning. That’s notable for several reasons, but one of them is that he hasn’t hit that number in something like 5 years.

So I guess I’m saying that the numbers are indicative of what people who have closely watched his career since the beginning know what he can do when he’s healthy. That was my whole point. Those of us who know the guy know that he’s a much better pitcher than his career numbers will tell you.
