Chicago's Paid Sick Leave ordinance - How has it affected you and/or your business?

Somebody enforce paid sick days for employees of grocery stores. Most of the employees are barely making rent, they can't afford any unpaid days off. Just other day I (a cancer patient with compromised immunity) was shopping mid day at a nearby supermarket. There were many people waiting for cashiers. Just then I was waved over to an open register by a cashier who was obviously so sick, he should have been home. And I have talked to him in the past. But due to my cancer, I had to wave him off from two checkout lines away. I said "sorry I have cancer and you're sick" and off I went to check out at a totally different location inside the store. Then I had to observe other customers checking out also to avoid getting exposed to flu, bronchitis and other illnesses which are epidemic right now.
