Chicken udon noodle soup

Never claimed there’s one proper way to eat. Person asked for recipe. I chimed in how we traditionally use udon here in Japan. We would never use chicken stock. Just as Americans would probably never use English muffins for burgers buns. Unless you’re into that.

By Asian soup, I’m stating that I’ve seen everything from ramen, soba, udon, Chinese mein dishes, pho - all topped with corn.

I think to touch more on your point though.. People’s National foods are personal and precious. When we see our food get misrepresented - stuff we grew up with, shared with our family and friends - we can get defensive. That’s probably where you get all these “people on the internet claiming proper ways to eat food”.
