Child picked on the bus...do i need an education lawyer. Do i have any options?

The vice principal said she was surprised to see his name on the referral. I have spoken with him that it is not necessary to defend me when older kids make fun of me for going to school. And that he should ignore them if they provoke him unless they touch him.

When they changed bus drivers, they also changed route. We were one of the first stops and now we are the last. He rides with older children longer. This is when problems arose. This year he is having problems and says he wants to drop out. Other years i was always given good report cards and no complaints.

The other parents are also shocked because they always ask for play dates since they are really well behaved. My oldest eats a lot and i have to bring extra snacks but that is it.

I know i will likely lose. I'm just frustrated. Other parents are also unhappy and we will likely move our kids from that school next year. I am trying to encourage him to enjoy school again. And find reliable transportation if we need to switch.
