I agree! My wife and I were brought up in completely different cultures, as different as our cultural backgrounds are, we were brought up with the same “old fashioned values”. We are raising our children with those same values. Whenever we go out, or are in a social situation with our children we get compliments about how well behaved our children are. We are astonished by the frequency of those compliments because our children are behaving like they should, without having to be distracted or entertained by electronics. While we appreciate the compliments, it makes realize that there are so many people who don’t parent their children.
