China bans burqas and 'abnormal' beards in Muslim province of Xinjiang

Muslims have freedom in the USA and I'd say we're doing well.

I'm going to give you the same response I gave someone else with a similar comment.

OP is an ex-Muslim from Palenstine so I can see that he might hold some animosity towards his former religion.

Realistically, giving "Muslims freedom" in America isn't a big issue because of several reasons:

1) Muslims account for a very small and minor portion of the US population.

2) America is a 1st World Country with a modern justice infrastructure that, despite popular belief, does its best to prevent abuses against innocents.

3) America has Freedom of Religion, and extremely strong laws protecting people from being forced to join and follow a religion.

Now I know some people may want to argue abortion as an example of being forced to follow religion, but that doesn't match up here.

It's how people define life and Personhood that might relate to religion. And whatever definition of life and Personhood you follow is what influences whether or not you see abortion as evil/wrong.

There are many people that see abortion as immoral/wrong that are not religious at all.

All of these combine to help prevent abuses from archaic religions that strip rights and equality from people.

Stop looking for excuses to be a bigot. ;-)

I suppose you can call an Ex-Muslim that is fleeing the Middle East a bigot for his hatred of his former religion, and the abuses he saw within it, but it does ring oddly to read.
