China is considering reducing tariffs on cars made in the U.S. to 15% from the current 40% which they had raised to back in July

It's honestly because people are ignorant and didn't pay attention to any of this until "bad orange man" started talking about it, which automatically means it's false apparently.

As someone who spent substantial time in China (Tianjin/Chongqing) working on supply chain for a large multinational energy corporation, it's ridiculous how unfair the situation is. Any business at all needs to be a joint venture and the Chinese company you partner with will always have at least one designated party member on their board. On top of that, their tariffs on ANYTHING we'd try to import are fucking ridiculous. People can cry crocodile tears about "unfair" tariffs on China all they want.
