China crushes mass protest by bank depositors demanding their life savings back

Many people dont understand the way how Chinese society is running.

Fact 1: Many people living in mainland China now have no knowledge of this news, because of the censorship. Today is just another day.

Fact 2: Cockroach theory works perfectly in China. When there is only a small piece of bad news, there are much more unrevealed similarly bad things happening. This is only the tip of an iceberg, when things are really out of control. There are thousands of similar banks in China with fraudulent auditing.

Fact 3: CCP national congress will hold in a few months where power transition at all levels will happen. This is a really sensitive moment for the government to adapt to or suppress such a movement. It means bad news for them, either way.

Based my understanding, government will have to use force just for the "harmonious society" that's crucial for any political events like party congress. This will end ugly for both sides.
