China Study Abroad?

Don’t you think people generally take “China” as some kind of clearance killer? As someone who currently holds a clearance and lived there for several years it is kind of sad. If China is are greatest enemy (and for sure they are and use our freedoms against us), shouldn’t that only encourage us to spend more time and learn about them? I have no doubt my Chinese connect makes my adjudication that much more difficult and longer. But if we don’t have people that know about China doesn’t it make the u.a. That much more vulnerable? Not saying let’s give naturalized citizens Ts/SCI and projects on China... but if a Midwestern guy can’t be trusted because he spent some time learning about China what hope is there?
